Furry Friends Refuge recently issued the following announcement.
Churro, Dulce, and Sopapilla came to Furry Friends from what was essentially a puppy mill situation. These gorgeous girls were living outside on a property with about 50 other dogs. They had never had the chance to learn normal dog things like snuggling on the couch, walking on a leash, or playing with people.
When they arrived at the shelter they were very scared and shut down. Over the last few weeks they've really started coming out of their shell and learning to enjoy the finer things in life like squeaky toys, peanut butter kongs, and ear scratches. Leashes...well...we're still not sure about those but if you have a fenced yard they're more than happy to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine with you.
These ladies are going to need lots of love and patience as they continue their journey in their forever home but if you're willing to invest in them we think you'll have a fantastic and loyal companion.
